Day 1 : Drive from Dehradun to Raithal

First of all you have to reach Raithal from Dehradun. The distance from Dehradun to Raithal is 184 kms. It will take you 8 to 9 hours to cover this distance. The road from Dehradun to Raithal is also very beautiful. A river also runs with you in this journey.

Whose name is Bhagirathi river, the music of this river also reaches your heart cool. Day : 2 Trek from Raithal to Gui

Raithal has an elevation of 7,400 ft above sea level, and today you will climb from 7,400 ft to 9,500 ft. Today’s trek will be easy for you and will take you around 5 to 6 hours to cover this distance depending on your fitness level. And I want to tell you that if you need water in the middle of the trek from Raithal to Gui, then definitely keep enough water with you because you will not get water anywhere in the middle of this route.

In the middle of the trek from Raithal to Gui, you will see all the beautiful views like the hills of Gangotri and the Shrikhand Mahadev peak along with it. The higher you go, the more clear the scene becomes. And the trail is well laid on this road. After this you will be completely in the middle of the dense forest. And the Gui campsite is located in a small space. During the night you will see the stars clear and very beautiful. Take your time here and enjoy this wonderful camping trip.

Day 3: Trek from Gui to Barnala

Today’s trek will take around 4 to 5 hours, and you will climb to a height of 11,100 feet. The route from Gui to Barnala is mostly a route through dense forest. And even today you must keep water with you. Today you will see the view from the other side. After reaching Barnala, you will also get to see some igloo shaped forest department structures.

The view will be of one side only, but will be very spectacular. You can also choose to visit Barnala Grasslands today. It will take you 10-15 minutes for this scene. You can also see a small lake with the Nag-devata temple here. While the walk to reach the temple is difficult, the view is such that you will be stunned.

Try to reach the temple around sunset. Because the surrounding ranges and mountain peaks are illuminated in the colors of the sunset, and the view will be more beautiful than you can imagine.

Day 4: Today’s trek will be from Barnala to Up top and back to Gui

Today, you will climb to a maximum altitude of 12,057 feet and return to 9,500 feet. This will be a moderate trek for you, and you will walk through an open field of grass before reaching the top. If you do this trek in winter, you will walk on snow instead of grass and it will take you about 5-6 hours to cover this distance. On the way there comes a place of water, you can fill it from there, so carry enough water and remember to fill the water.

After the Barnala meadow, you will go through a dense forest, and a stone path will also come in the middle, but if the stones are well laid then you will not find much difficulty in walking on this path. While doing this trek, you will come across two places on your way, Bhandar Poonch and Kala Nag, both of these places are worth seeing.

If you come here at the beginning of the summer season, you will see a lot of flowers in the meadow, and in the winter months, you will be greeted by snow, which will be scattered throughout the view. Stay here for as long as you want and enjoy this beautiful place before heading downstairs from this place.

Day : 5 Trek from Gui to Raithal

Today you will have to trek back from Gui to Raithal, which will take you 4 hours and remember the time it takes us to climb the mountain. It takes us only half that time while descending.

Day 6: Drive back to Dehradun
